More Details on Our Top Picks
Amuseable Letter to Santa
The Amuseable Letter to Santa stands out for its charming holiday theme, crafted from soft rayon, linen, and polyester. Its compact size makes it perfect for gift-giving or decorating, especially if you love a touch of classic Christmas charm. Compared to the Snowflake, it offers a more recognizable holiday motif, making it a thoughtful gift or seasonal ornament. However, its limited detailed features and small parts mean it’s less suitable for very young children or rough handling. This pick makes the most sense for those who want a festive, high-quality decoration that can also serve as a keepsake.
Pros:- Festive and charming holiday design
- Made from soft, durable materials
- Perfect size for gifting or decoration
- High-quality plush construction
Cons:- Limited detailed features
- Not suitable for very young children due to small parts
- Specific holiday-themed use
Best for: Holiday decor enthusiasts and gift givers looking for a charming, seasonal plush.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking a durable toy for very young children or active play.
- Size:5.9in x 7.1in x 2in

Our verdict“A delightful holiday ornament and gift, best for decoration and seasonal cheer.”
Christmas Tree Plush Toy, 15.8″ Christmas Tree Pillow
The Christmas Tree Plush Toy offers a playful and cuddly holiday accent, with a lifelike reindeer design that brings festive cheer. Its 15.8-inch size makes it a versatile decoration for mantels, sofas, or as a cozy gift. Compared with the Snowflake, it’s more of a decorative plush and less of a cuddly toy, with a larger, more prominent presence. The plush fabric is ultra-soft, making it appealing for both kids and adults who want a festive touch. However, it comes vacuum-packed, so fluffing may be needed, and its size may not suit all decorative spaces. It’s best for those who want a statement holiday piece without sacrificing softness or charm.
Pros:- Cute and festive reindeer design
- Ultra-soft and cuddly
- Versatile decoration for various spaces
Cons:- Requires fluffing after unpacking
- Limited use outside the holiday season
- Size may be small for some decorative needs
Best for: Holiday decorators and gift seekers wanting a plush that doubles as decor.
Not ideal for: Those wanting a small, versatile plush for travel or rough play.
- Material:Premium plush fabric
- Dimensions:15.8″ L x 10″ W x 15.8″ H
- Color:Christmas Tree
- Collection:Christmas Tree Plush Collection
Our verdict“A charming plush that doubles as festive decor, ideal for enhancing holiday spaces.”
Amuseable Medium Snowflake
The Amuseable Medium Snowflake is a soft plush with fluffy textures and a cheerful smile, perfect for cuddling or holiday displays. Its dimensions make it a cozy companion or decorative accent, with a design that radiates winter magic. Compared to the Letter to Santa, it’s more versatile for cuddling and can be used beyond holiday decor, making it a favorite for those who want a plush that’s both charming and functional. Its safe, soft exterior is suitable for all ages, but it’s less appropriate as a rough-and-tumble toy. If you want a plush that adds enchantment and cuddly comfort, this is a strong choice.
Pros:- Soft, cuddly textures
- Charming holiday design
- Safe for all ages from birth
- Versatile for display and pretend play
Cons:- Limited as a toy for rough play
- Dimensions may be small for some preferences
Best for: Families and individuals seeking a cuddly, holiday-themed plush for all ages.
Not ideal for: Those wanting a durable toy for active play or rough handling.
- Dimensions:6.3in x 8.3in x 5.5in
- Material:Soft polyester with fiber stuffing
- Care & Safety:Wash at 86°F, tested to safety standards
Our verdict“A delightful plush for cuddling and holiday decoration, suitable for all ages.”
Ricky Rain Frog Christmas Tree
Ricky Rain Frog in Christmas Tree Costume offers a playful, whimsical take on holiday plushes, dressed in embroidered baubles and a star-topped hat. Its 11.4-inch height makes it a charming gift or decorative piece, especially for children who love quirky characters. Compared to the Snowflake or Letter to Santa, Ricky Rain Frog adds a fun, character-driven element to the collection. However, limited details on its durability or washability suggest it’s best used as a decorative or collectible item rather than a rough-and-tumble toy. This pick is perfect for those who want a unique, festive plush with personality.
Pros:- Adorable festive design with embroidered details
- Soft and plush, suitable for children
- Unique character with holiday charm
Cons:- Limited information on durability
- Price and reviews not widely available
- Size may be small for some display needs

Factors to Consider When Choosing Jellycat Christmas Collection
Choosing the right Jellycat Christmas plush depends on your main goal—whether it’s decoration, cuddling, or collecting. Considering size, design, safety, and versatility helps narrow down options. I’ll guide you through key factors to think about for each type of buyer, so you can find the perfect holiday companion or decoration.
Holiday Decor vs. Cuddly Toys
If decoration is your priority, look for plushes like the Letter to Santa or Christmas Tree Pillow, which bring festive charm but aren’t necessarily meant for active play. For cuddling, the Snowflake offers soft textures and safe design, suitable for all ages. Consider whether you want a plush that can also serve as a decorative piece or if you prefer a plush primarily for snuggling or collection.
Size and Versatility
Size matters—smaller plushes like the Letter to Santa are easy to gift and decorate with, while larger options like the Christmas Tree Pillow make a more prominent statement. Think about your space and whether you want a plush that can be moved around easily or one that acts as a centerpiece. Versatility also includes whether the plush can be used beyond the holiday season or is strictly seasonal.
Safety and Durability
For young children or frequent handling, safety standards are vital. Plushes like Snowflake are tested and safe from birth, whereas others like Ricky Rain Frog might lack specific safety info. Durability varies, so consider whether you want a plush that withstands rough play or one that’s mainly decorative. Always check cleaning instructions and material quality for long-term use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Jellycat Christmas plush toys safe for young children?
Most Jellycat plush toys, including their Christmas collection, are tested to meet safety standards like EN71, ASTM, and ISO 8124, making them safe for children from birth. However, some designs with small parts or decorations, like the Letter to Santa, may not be suitable for very young children due to choking hazards. Always check the product details for age recommendations and supervision advice.
Can these plush toys be used as holiday decorations year-round?
While most Jellycat Christmas plushes are designed for the holiday season, many can be kept out as year-round decor if you enjoy a festive touch. The plushes with neutral or winter-themed designs, like the Snowflake or Tree Pillow, work well as seasonal or winter decor pieces. However, others with explicit Christmas motifs may feel out of place outside the holiday period.
How should I clean and care for Jellycat plush toys?
Cleaning instructions vary by product but generally include surface spot cleaning or gentle hand washing. For example, the Snowflake recommends washing at 86°F and not tumble drying, to preserve its texture. Always check the label for specific care guidelines. Avoid harsh detergents or machine washing for plushes with delicate details to maintain their appearance and softness.
Are Jellycat plushes suitable as collectible items?
Yes, many Jellycat plushes, especially limited editions or themed characters like Ricky Rain Frog, appeal to collectors. Their high-quality craftsmanship and charming designs make them desirable keepsakes. Keep in mind that some plushes may not be durable enough for rough handling or long-term display if they lack reinforced stitching or specific durability features.
Which Jellycat Christmas plush is best for gifting children?
The Snowflake or Ricky Rain Frog are excellent choices for children, thanks to their soft textures and playful designs. Snowflake is safer for all ages, including infants, while Ricky Rain Frog offers a fun, character-driven gift for older kids. Consider the child’s preferences and safety needs when selecting the best plush for gifting.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a plush primarily for decoration or gifting, the Amuseable Letter to Santa and Christmas Tree Plush Toy are excellent choices. For cuddly comfort, the Amuseable Snowflake shines, especially for families with young children. Those who want a whimsical, collectible character should consider Ricky Rain Frog. Your choice depends on whether you prioritize festive decor, cuddly softness, or playful character, but each of these Jellycat options adds a special touch to your holiday season.
